Hi all, I feel it is time for a new post, so here I am. So much has happened. Xhaiden is 3, Jim is making progress with his CNC machine, making it much faster and learning how to use it more and more. I can't wait to see the wheels he will cut out for use with R/C cars, they will be made out of aluminum. He has actually been healthy lately, which I think we all know is quite a miracle. He wants to get his car fixed but lately he has been spending most of his time (and our money) getting the business started. He is a very hard worker and I'm very proud.
Xac finished T-ball, he learned to run to home plate instead of the pitcher's mound - there's a cute story there - and to play in the outfield, all in his very last game. So it was a success. Both the boys are helping me with random chores and quite enjoying it. They are getting pretty good at washing walls and putting the laundry on hangers. We've been having family home evenings with an emphasis on reverence and obedience and it's having a small impact. We have had FHE before, but these ones seemed to take more, we felt that we were able to finally teach these concepts, so Xac understands what they are and that Heavenly Father wants him to do that.
Meanwhile I am enjoying my work at Eleutian, at least the part of talking to Korean people. I may soon have the option to work from home, that is, I do, but they told me it has to be quiet. In any case, I get a kick out of the Koreans. They understand most of my jokes and they are fun to talk with for the most part. My job is to correct them on their English, and I find when I come home I am still in the habit. Xac is kind of my target, I talk to him and tell him how to say things, and he repeats it. He can speak pretty clearly, but not on a consistent basis. He's pretty willing to participate, so that makes me glad. Other than that I'm just working out at the gym (on occasion) and enjoying the few random people that stop by to see us.
I also have a new calling, I make the programs for sacrament meeting, which has been kind of fun. I'm trying to figure out how many I have to print before I actually get handed one, but so far I've never had a copy. I wonder how many other people experience this by the time they finish rounding up their children, but I have no idea and perhaps they don't care for another paper, because while the meeting agenda may say we will be singing, it doesn't include scheduled diaper changes, nursing and trips out to the hall to avoid loud screaming. Now that would be a useful tool. In any case, the bishop said he was so impressed that I came early to make copies that he would try to get a coveted key to the library so I wouldn't have to interrupt his morning meetings. I wonder, am I safe to be posting this? Try not to get jealous.
OK, so enough of trying to see how much I can say about not very much and good night!
