Our main purpose in going to Salt Lake, or at least the reason that made me forge ahead in spite of having a cold that made me somewhat miserable was that we planned a big get together with all my Hippen cousins that were available, and of course my sisters and Don who drove out from Kansas. It was a lot of fun. The food was sooo good, thanks to everyone, and I only wish a few more could have made it. It would have been fun to have some big activity to go do like a zoo trip or something like I see my cousins always posting about - their fun runs and such. But it was great that everyone came that possibly could. I think it shows our family cares about each other. It was nice to me to get out of the car after a long trip and see everyone there to greet me.
